My research focuses on the experimental investigation of organic and inorganic materials and interfaces for device applications such as organic solar cells, OLEDs, and thin film transistors. I have expertise in the techniques of ultraviolet, X-ray, and inverse photoemission spectroscopies (UPS, XPS, and IPES), atomic force microscopy (AFM), Kelvin probe, solutions processing, vacuum vapor deposition, and ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) system operation and maintenance. I study a variety of materials including organic polymers (e.g. P3HT and PTAA) and small molecules (α-6T, SubPc, C₆₀ , etc.), metal oxides (e.g. TiO₂ and ZnO), and hybrid organic-inorganic metal halide perovskites (MAPbI₃, CsPbBr₃, etc.).
