George Cybenko Ph.D: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, 1978 Thesis: Error Analysis of Some Signal Processing Algorithms Advisor: Bede Liu Biography George Cybenko is the Dorothy and Walter Gramm Professor of Engineering at Dartmouth College. Cybenko's current research interests are distributed information, control systems and signal processing, especially with applications to security and infrastructure protection. He was the founding Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Security and Privacy and IEEE/AIP Computing in Science and Engineering. Cybenko received his BA in mathematics from the University of Toronto and his Ph.D. in mathematics from Princeton. He is a Fellow of the IEEE. |
