Shiping Li Ph.D: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, 1986 Thesis: Applications of Lattice Filters in Estimation of Time Series Models Advisor: Bradley Dickinson Biography Shiping Li is a member of technical staff at Sonus Networks. He is involved in research and development in carrier-class VoIP (voice over IP) gateway switches. He has been instrumental in architecting and designing Sonus's award winning VoIP gateway switches, which have become the de facto standard in the telecom industry. From 1986 until joining Sonus in 1997, he was a faculty member at the Texas A&M University first, then held R&D engineering positions at Motorola and Nortel Networks. |
