Biography

Qiang Ren received his B.A. in Mathematics from Beijing University and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. After graduating from Princeton, he worked at NEC USA Research Lab for six years in the field of tele-communication networks before spending another five years at Avici Systems, desiging and developing software for high speed internet core routers. Since 2005 he has been working in financial industry. He is currently a quantitative anaylst at Concordia Advisors, working on quantitative credits and trading strategies for structured credits.
