Biography

Yingwei Yao received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2002. From 2002 to 2004, he was with the University of Minnesota as a postdoctoral researcher. Since August 2004, he has been with the University of Illinois at Chicago as an assistant professor. His research interests are in the areas of communication theory, wireless networks, and statistical signal processing.
