Biography
Ralf Müller joined NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) as professor for wireless networks in 2005 after heading a research group at ftw. (Vienna Telecommunications Research Center) in Vienna, Austria since 2000.
Ralf Müller received the Leonard G. Abraham Prize from the IEEE Communications Society and the Phillip Reis Award jointly with S. Verdú and R. Fischer, resp. He also received awards from the Vodafone Foundation for Research in Mobile Communication and the German Society for Information Technology.
He has been an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory from 2003 to 2006 and is a senior member of the IEEE. He held visiting professorship at various universities in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
