Biography
Xiaoqiang Ma received the B.E. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1996
and 1999, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University, NJ, in 2004.
His research interests are in the general areas of digital communication theory and signal processing applications in wireless communications. He focuses more on the multicarrier related system design and performance analysis, including equalization, channel estimation, synchronization, and
peak-to-average-power ratio reduction.
While he was a Ph.D. candidate at Princeton, he received Microsoft Graduate Fellowship (2002-2004). He was a recipient of Siemens Scholarship (1997), while studying at Tsinghua University.
