Yossef Steinberg Ph.D: Electrical Engineering, Tel Aviv, 1991 Thesis: Nonlinear Smoothing of Scalar Diffusions Postdoc at Princeton: 1991 - 1994 Advisor: Vincent Poor, Sergio Verdu Biography Yossi Steinberg received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel. He was a Lady Davis Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Technion IIT, Haifa, Israel, and held visiting appointments at Princeton University, and at C^#I Center, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. From 1995 to 1999, he was with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Ben Gurion University, Beer-Sheva, Irael. In 1999, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technion. Dr. Steinberg currently serves as an Associate Editor for Shannon Theory of the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory. |
