Biography

Siu-Wai Ho received the BEng, MPhil and PHD degrees from Department of Information Engineering of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2000, 2003, and 2006 respectively. He came to Princeton University in 2006 and is currently Postdoctoral Research Fellow of Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton where his host is Professor Sergio Verdu.

He involves in the areas of the Shannon theory, communications in asynchronous channels, entropy estimation, and quantum information theory. He is a member of the IEEE and RGMIA. He got outstanding teaching assistant awards five times during his postgraduate study. He got the Croucher Foundation Fellowship from Hong Kong in 2006.
