Yap-Peng Tan Ph.D: Electrical Engineering, 1997 Thesis: Digital Video Analysis and Manipulation Advisor: Sanjeev Kulkarni, Peter Ramadge Biography Dr. Yap-Peng Tan received the B.S. degree from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, in 1993, and the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Princeton University, New Jersey, in 1995 and 1997, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He was the recipient of an IBM Graduate Fellowship from IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY, from 1995 to 1997, and was with Intel and Sharp Labs of America from 1997 to 1999. In November 1999, he joined the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he is currently Head of the Division of Information Engineering. |
