| These are the instructions for preparing individual photos for an existing faceboard. If you need to start a new faceboard, send a note to eeweb@princeton.edu and we will do the initial setup. To remove a photo from a faceboard, simply remove the file from the faceboard folder. |

1. Open the photo in photoshop, then
(If you are working on a set of pictures, you will have to do these steps only once for the first picture.) |

2. Drag the mouse diagonally across the entire photo, or across the part of it you want to crop to. After your first drag, you can adjust the size by dragging the corners, or move the whole frame around by pointing the mouse inside it and dragging. Double-click when you have it the way you want it. |

| 3. (Optional) Set the zoom scale to 100% to see the image the same size as it will appear on the web page. | ![]() |
| 4. In the File menu, select File Info... | ![]() |
5. Select Description in the left-hand panel, then:

| 6. In the File menu, select Save As... | ![]() |
7. Navigate
to the faceboard folder (the appropriate subfolder of EERESOURCE\Web\Faces),
then:

| 8. Set Quality to 5, then click OK to save the file. | ![]() |
9. Go to the faceboard web page and check that all is well. Click the person's name to verify that a window pops up with the correct information for this person. The faceboards are at https://www.ee.princeton.edu/guide/Faces/. |
