COPIER FAQs

The main copier in the Department of Electrical Engineering is located in B211B. Instructions for its use are posted on the wall directly behind the copier. The manual is available from EE Purchasing, B321, 8-1676. If you experience problems with the copier, please contact the EE Purchasing Coordinator, Linda Dreher (eepurch@princeton.edu).

Each office has an individual copier.

The SEAS color copier, located in Von Neuman (across from the Stockroom) requires a code which may be obtained from either Linda Dreher, B321, 8-1676. Color copies cost .30 each. The SEAS copier is administered by Linda Geraci of SEAS.

Instructions for printing to the Ricoh copier from your computer:

INSTRUCTION FOR COPYING FROM PC

1-Each user must install the printer themselves on their computer that you log into. This is done
by following this path START-SETTING-RUN and typing in the following path.
\\ntprintserver\rcequadb211b
You need to select "open" if a dialog window appears asking what action should be taken.
Then click "yes" to install the printer. The printer is now available in the users printers
selections in START-PRINTERS select "rc_equad_b211b on ntprintserver" .

2-After the printer has been selected for a print job, the user's code needs to be entered before
clicking "OK" to print..

3-The user code entry window can be found by right clicking
rc_equad_b211b on ntprintserver" ICON and choosing "printing preferences "

4- Selecting the "statistics" tab to enter user code.


(If the user code is not entered, the print job goes to the printer but it will be ignored). Under the "setup--job type", "Normal" mode will send a print job directly to the printer. This will save your job in "Document Server" Mode on the control panel on the copier. To retrieve your copies, the user would then go down to the copier and push the "document server" mode button on the machine, and select their stored job for printout.
