Parking Guidelines for Visitors to
the Engineering Quadrangle (E-Quad)
There is a limited number of metered-parking spaces available directly across the street from the E-Quad.
University parking lots are numbered, marked with signs
indicating restricted parking areas, and require a parking sticker.
However, one-day parking is available for visitors in University
restricted parking lots.
If you are planning to park in University parking areas, you are requested to obtain a document
indicating the date you will be using the parking lot, your name, the
name of the person you will be visiting at Princeton University,
the person's room number and telephone extension, and the purpose of your visit, e.g. conference, research, interview, etc.. This document can be easily obtained by sending us an e-mail
prior to the date of your visit, and should be displayed on the
dashboard of your vehicle upon parking in a University parking lot.
Engineering Quadrangle restricted parking areas available for day visitors include Parking Areas 1A and 3 (parking garage) ONLY.
Persons requiring parking privileges for longer periods of time are required to
visit the Office of Public Safety, Parking Division, in Stanhope Hall, and complete an application requesting a temporary parking tag.
Please note as a friendly reminder that vehicles parked illegally (no sticker, note, or temporary tag) may be ticketed, towed, or booted.
